Coney Sauce Recipe: 3 lbs. beef grnd. 3 times. 5 tbsp chili powder 2 tbsp salt 1 tsp. pepper 4 med. onions, chopped 1-1/2 tsp garlic salt* 7 drops Tabasco sauce 1 lg. can tomato juice 1 cup water Brown the ground beef then add remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil then simmer until desired thickness is reached (about 2 hours). Freeze whatever is left over in small freezer bags for future use.

Serving suggestions: Use Koegel hot dogs with skins. Slow cook them in a frying pan until they are slightly crisp to get that crunch sound when biting. Top your bunned hotdog with a generous layer of coney sauce, then a strip of mustard, some finely chopped onions, and a sliced dill pickle.
